I’m an artist and curator with a practice which spans across painting, theatre, installation, photography, sound, sculpture and film-making. Since setting up Twosome Films (2001-2009)with my identical twin Christabel directing and producing several short films, I’ve returned to my art practice; focused largely on the domestic sphere and Motherhood as a subject matter. Work has developed in collaboration with my partner Josh Leeson, my children, and significantly with artist Eve Dent, with whom I formed the Mothersuckers Project in 2009 .

Recent collaborations have included working with sound artists Simon Gore and Joe Marvelly for the HouseMADE project and on my Creative Wales project ‘Walls’, my most recent work being for the ‘Household Name’ exhibition, curated by Zena Blackwell for Contemporary Cymru, due to open at Elysium Gallery, Swansea in May 2021.
Other projects
I am co-director and founder of Cardiff M.A.D.E, a not for profit arts organization and independent arts-space, which has “been instrumental is propelling the careers of many Welsh and Wales-based early career artists” FAD magazine.
I’m also currently engaged in organising events and symposia including a steering group on Maternal performance to continue the discussion around parental art and offering a means of support and exhibiting amongst individuals and groups.
