Just like watching a painting change before my eyes, sequential image making began through drawing autobiographical strip cartoons - an essential part of how I make sense of things, to distill experience. Being an identical twin, I’d always felt ‘different’, becoming aware of the cultural assumptions underpinning our ‘doubleness’ created a desire to speak out for the misfits looking in, and Peek was my first film with Twosome films, taking 3 months to make.
